Client service & team leadership
Lead client relationships. Give teams direction.
When a senior account role is vacant or a client relationship needs closer attention, I step in as an interim Client Service Director or freelance Team Lead for agencies. I connect the client’s perspective with what your team needs to do good work: clear priorities, reliable decisions and a realistic scope.

01 · Your situation
When day-to-day leadership matters.
A leadership gap.
A vacancy or transition should not leave client relationships and team coordination without an owner.
A more demanding account.
More stakeholders, changing expectations or unclear responsibilities call for an experienced point of contact.
A team under pressure.
Account management, creative and production need to work together without escalating every decision to the managing director.
02 · My contribution
Connecting client needs, teams and agency operations.
Client leadership
Understand requirements, align expectations and prepare decisions with the relevant stakeholders. I lead conversations even when priorities or interests differ.
Team leadership
Clarify responsibilities, prioritise work and structure collaboration across account management, creative and production, while staying close to the day-to-day tasks.
Account development
Identify emerging needs and opportunities within an account, support proposals and pitches, and align the scope of work with available resources.

03 · Experience & approach
Leading client service means understanding delivery.
As the founder and managing director of an advertising agency, I led account teams, developed client relationships and took responsibility for day-to-day delivery. I understand both the demands of good client service and the commercial responsibility behind it.
How we get started
We start by clarifying the remit, decision-making authority and key relationships within the team and on the client side. This gives us a clear division of responsibilities, a suitable communication rhythm and an agreed handover at the end of the engagement.

Working together
Can you cover a vacant leadership role on an interim basis?
Yes. I can take on an interim leadership role in client consulting or client service. We agree the scope, responsibilities and duration around your specific situation.
Are you hands-on or purely advisory?
My focus is on taking active responsibility in daily operations. That includes client conversations, team coordination and decisions, as well as working on proposals, briefs and pitches.
How is this different from project management?
Client service centres on the client relationship, team leadership and account development. Project management focuses more on delivering a defined piece of work within its scope, budget and timeline. The roles can be combined where useful.
